OZUALDO CANDEIAS: TRIUMPHO STREET

Exhibition assembled from Ozualdo Candeias’ photographic collection (1918-2007), that documented Boca do Lixo moviemaking neighborhood in São Paulo for more than 40 years. The exhibition had four overhead projectors showing never-before-seen pictures by Candeias. Three short films about Boca were screened and photomontages printed in cotton paper were displayed. The exhibition was held during the event May Photography in MIS (São Paulo Image and Sound Museum), in 2012 along with exhibits of the photographic works of André Kertész, Andy Warhol and Claudio Edinger.
